33rd Canadian Conference on Artificial Intelligence (Canadian AI 2020)

From May 13th to 15th, 2020, the 33rd Canadian Conference on Artificial Intelligence (Canadian AI 2020) was held jointly with the Computer and Robot Vision Conference (CRV). These events (AI·CRV 2020) brought together hundreds of leaders in research, industry and government, as well as Canada’s most accomplished students, showcasing Canada’s ingenuity, innovation and leadership in intelligent systems and advanced information and communications technology. Prof. Xiaodan Zhu of Ingenuity Labs was a Program Co-Chair for the Canadian AI 2020.

All keynotes, paper presentations, and tutorials were recorded and freely available at https://www.caiac.ca/en/conferences/canadianai-2020/home.  This year’s Canadian AI received the highest number of submissions (145) since 2008, featuring 354 authors from 28 different countries on topics including machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, autonomous driving, social impact of AI, and AI ethics. The proceedings of the conference are published by Springer, LNAI 12109.

The conference also presented CAIAC (Canadian Artificial Intelligence Association) MSc Thesis Award and PhD Dissertation Award, as well as the Best Paper and Best Student Paper Award.
