Dr. Ali Etemad, an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and PhD candidate Pritam Sarkar created a machine-learning model that could give cheap wearable tech the ability to measure a user’s cardiovascular health.

The technology is available for licensing through the Queen’s Partnerships and Innovation office.

For more information about Dr. Etemad’s research work, please check out the talk he gave to the CAMDEA Digital Forum.
