Dr. Ali Etemad, an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and PhD candidate Pritam Sarkar created a machine-learning model that could give cheap wearable tech the ability to measure a user’s cardiovascular health.
The technology is available for licensing through the Queen’s Partnerships and Innovation office.
