Ingenuity Labs Racing

Ingenuity Labs Racing is a team of passionate graduate students with a diverse background in robotics, automation, control, and perception, united by a common cause - how do we race faster autonomously?

Our team competes in Roboracer (previously F1TENTH) events typically held as part of large international conferences. Roboracer is an international community of researchers, engineers, and autonomous systems enthusiasts. Founded and maintained by the University of Pennsylvania, it has grown over the years to become one of the premiere venues for state-of-the-art autonomous racing research, with races at prestigious conferences like ICRA and IROS attracting over 80 research labs from around the world each year.

Using the RoboRacer platform, we are aiming to participate at our first international racing competition at ICRA 2026 in Vienna, Austria, where research teams from around the world participate in a heated two-part competition - a solo time-trial race, and a head-to-head race against another autonomous vehicle.
