ADVENTOR Week

ADVENTOR Week is our annual symposium, where all of ADVENTOR gathers to connect, share, and learn from each other in person.

Taking place at rotating institutions, this week features a variety of interesting events such as a design competition, site visits, and symposium.

Keynote Speakers

ADVENTOR Week keynote speakers blend interdisciplinary topics with current robotic research to inspire the creative minds of those in attendance.

From entertainment in media, to performance art on stage, our featured speakers are pushing barriers and extending the reach of robotics are we know it.

Each year we bring a new an exciting speaker, with a wealth of knowledge and ingenuity.

Thank you to our previous keynote speakers who are featured below.

Design Competition

ADVENTOR challenges trainees with a unique and collaborative design competition each year.

Trainees collaborate to design and create a robot prototype to solve a real-world challenge.

This 2-day event ends with a pitch competition, judged by professionals and collaborators from faculty members to industry leaders.

Based on a central theme, and training element, trainees are tasked to investigate and invent a robotic solution for challenges within municipal sectors to large-scale critical infrastructures and construction.

Student Presentations

ADVENTOR trainees take the stage to present their research and updates to the entire ADVENTOR team.

Throughout their tenure, trainees practice presenting their research to a large audience of their peers, mentors, and prospective professional connections.
