Our Supervisors

ADVENTOR trainees must have an ADVENTOR supervisor as their primary research supervisor.
ADVENTOR trainees must have a co-supervisor. Co-supervisors can be another ADVENTOR supervisor or an ADVENTOR academic collaborator.
New collaborations are possible if the potential co-supervisor is interested in joining the ADVENTOR Program as a collaborator.

Get to know our supervisorsCo-supervisors are encouraged, but optional for non-funded applications. Funded applications without a signed-on co-supervisor will be considered after those with a confirmed co-supervisor.
Application Process
The ADVENTOR trainee application is completed as 3 separate documents.
- Complete the ADVENTOR Trainee Application document (linked below). This document requires applicants to provide their information for administration purposes.. Please pay attention to the information on the application, such as funding terms, and deadlines.
- Save this document as a PDF with the title: LastName-FirstName-ProposedYear-AppInfo
- Answer the "CREATE ADVENTOR Application Questions" found on page 5 of the Trainee Application document.
- Save this as a separate PDF with the title: LastName-FirstName-ProposedYear-App
- Prepare your most recent CV in PDF format with the title: LastName-FirstName-ProposedYear-CV
- Submit these three PDFs in a single email to adventor@queensu.ca by the deadline with the subject line: LastName-FirstName-ProposedYear
- Applications will be reviewed by the ADVENTOR Admissions Committee. You will be notified of the results once a decision has been made.
ADVENTOR Trainee ApplicationSignatures are required by all proposed supervisors for the application to be considered.
